Zen Shiatsu
Shi means finger and atsu means pressure in Japanese. Hence Shiatsu is a traditional Japanese massage where the therapist uses his/her thumb to apply pressure on the various pressure points of your body. Shiatsu is particularly useful for relieving stress, muscle pain and joint pains.
Yogic Shiatsu
This involves shiatsu with a lot of stretching techniques (derived from yoga ashanas) of the muscles. Besides giving a good stretch to your whole body the therapist delivers excellent thumb techniques to apply pressure on the various pressure points of the body.
Thai Traditional Therapy
Based on ayurveda and yoga, known as Nuatphaenboran in Thailand, Thai massage originated in India and became one of the most popular forms of therapy in Thailand and from there to the rest of the world. This massage involves stretching muscles of the body and applying pressure to specific pressure points. Also known by various names like involuntary yoga or lazy person’s yoga, Thai therapy is massage combined with an effective workout.
